Today, we’re filled with gratitude - for community, for hope, and for people like you who make room for both. Your support is part of what makes this mission feel like family, and we are truly thankful for you.
We are reminded that home is more than a place, it’s the beginning of safety, belonging, and hope. Because of what we accomplished together this year, and the strong start we already have on next year, 14 families will be able to step into safe, affordable homes and build the future they’ve worked so hard for. None of this happens without the generosity of people like you, and we are grateful beyond words.

My journey with Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota began several years ago when I joined the Homeowner Services Committee. Serving on this committee has deepened my understanding of why our organization exists and the impact we strive to make. In this role, I work closely with partner families, mentoring them and offering guidance on budgeting and financial planning. Drawing from my own life experiences, I am able to share practical knowledge that empowers families to build a stronger future. This work reminds me every day of the power of community and the importance of giving back.
