Donations Processing Merchandiser
Job Summary:
The Donations Processing Merchandiser is responsible for the safe transfer, loading and unloading of donated items to the Habitat Restore; greets and interacts with donors, creates a safe and welcoming environment while working collaboratively with a team.
Inventory & Merchandising:

Receive, process and merchandise donations daily.

Transfer, load and unload donated items, using the forklift as necessary.

Review, record and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
-
Assist with merchandise resets throughout the Restore.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Customer Service:

Answer customer’s questions about merchandise, policies and procedures.
-
Provide a friendly environment that represents the mission of Habitat for Humanity.

Possess knowledge of store layout and location of products.
-
Collaborate with employees and volunteers in a professional, positive manner.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.
-
Flexibility and responsiveness in quick-paced environment.
-
Attention to detail and quality control.
-
Forklift Certification or willingness to obtain certification.
-
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
Education and Experience:
-
Previous customer service experience preferred.
-
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of physical activity.
-
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

Clothing Department Lead
Job Summary:The Clothing Department Lead is responsible for donations processing and merchandising in the department; leads a rotating team of staff and volunteers; greets and interacts with customers, creates a safe and welcoming environment while working collaboratively with the ReStore team.

Donation Truck Driver
Job Summary:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe pick-up, transfer, loading and unloading of donated items to the Habitat Restore while providing outstanding customer service.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Organizes, completes and documents an efficient pick up route for the day.
• Review, record and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Complete all necessary checklists, documents and receipts daily.
• Report all mechanical, personnel and customer concerns to the Director.
• Provide processing and merchandising service while at the Restore.
• Provides customer service that represents the mission of Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to plan, schedule and prioritize.
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times.
• Attention to detail and quality control.
• Flexibility and responsiveness in quick-paced environment.
• Demonstrate a knowledge of the mission of Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
Education and Experience:
